Biberach/Riss, 18/08/2008 - The KaVo ESTETICA E80 treatment unit can be flexibly adjusted for the specific requirements of the dentist and the patient and enables optimum working with a healthy, ergonomically correct posture. An advanced hygiene design also provides safety, prevents treatment errors and protects the practice team and the patient.
The hygienic design of the ESTETICA E80 has many benefits and includes an automatic rinsing program which makes the daily rinsing of all water lines easy. The variable rinse time is easily activated by the push of a button.
The continuous and intensive sterilisation with KaVo Oxygenal 6 prevents the spread of micro-organisms during normal use and ensures that cooling and spray liquids remain of high quality even after extended standing periods. A ring water line in the dentist element ensures that the system is continuously rinsed. The valve for preventing back suction on KaVo instruments and motors protects patients and prevents contaminated spray water from being sucked back into the treatment unit.
The automated hydroclean function cleans the entire suction and drain system including the suction hoses with water and disinfects them with the fully-automated dosage of Dekaseptol gel.
Dekaseptol and Oxygenal 6 cleaning and disinfecting agents are integrated into the body of the unit and are dispensed as required by the Dekamat or Oxymat devices making manual cleaning and contact with disinfectants is completely unnecessary, saving the practice valuable time.
The smooth surface design of the unit also has very few areas where dirt can collect. Frequently touched parts such as handles, instrument holder and mouth rinsing basin can be removed, disinfected and in some cases sterilised to prevent cross-contamination.
The automatic, standardised hygiene functions of the ESTETICA E80 make hygiene simple and quick.
